CHEF BIOGRAPHY

Chef Hung Le is the co-owner and Executive Chef of the highly acclaimed Three Seasons Restaurant, where he creates exciting and exotic Vietnamese and Asian-inspired dishes combining fresh, premium ingredients with innovative food presentation. While he has received accolades from the San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News and professional foodies, he prides his cuisine on being able to appeal to both Asian and Western tastes, as well as to the ethnically diverse palates of his loyal fans in the Bay Area, including many corporate customers in Silicon Valley, such as Amazon, Google and Stanford University.

Chef Le traces his interest in the need for a pure, organic approach to food preparation to his childhood, when he would witness his mother and grandmother artfully preparing the family dinner in his native Vietnam. He would watch in awe as both women handpicked fresh vegetables and herbs and carefully inspected grains of rice to ensure their quality. But despite his fascination and respect for the culinary world, he never considered a career in food until after working as an entrepreneur, when he realized that he spent all his free time in the kitchen, experimenting with innovative approaches to traditional Asian cuisines.

Armed with an unshakable passion for cooking, Chef Le's first foray into the culinary world was an instant success with both critics and the public at large when he opened his first Three Seasons Restaurant in San Francisco's trendy Marina District. After earning the distinction as one of the most acclaimed Vietnamese restaurants in the Bay Area, Chef Le opened Three Seasons Restaurants in Palo Alto, expanding his presence throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
